Books I’ve Read This Year 2024
This report is what I captured via Audible and Goodreads.
My reading goals were to increase my novels from last year and improve my reading selections to be more positive. In 2025 I am looking to increase my count even more. I’ve set a new goal of 40+ books. We shall see.
For the year I purchased way more than 20 books. So, a new 2025 goal is to decrease my purchases to reduce spending for a much-needed money goal. One step forward, three steps back (sigh). I just keep saying my new mantra “Kindle Unlimited is my bestie.”
Also, I do tend to re-read my favorites. Primarily, Melissa Good, Elizabeth Moon, and David Weber series. I don’t know why but David Weber has been a go-to when I want some action and of course, the romance Tropical Storm by Melissa Good is golden with romance, and Elizabeth is a goddess author.
I paired my audible with my 1 hour of walking nightly which incidentally picked up my audible reading level substantially. I wonder what I can do this year to add more.
